IBANFix collects the minimum information necessary to operate the service:
- IBAN Numbers: Not collected or stored. IBANs are processed in memory solely to return a validation result and are immediately discarded. No IBAN is ever written to any database, log file, or storage system.
- Server Logs: Like all web servers, our hosting provider may retain standard HTTP access logs (IP address, timestamp, page URL, browser type) for a limited period for security and operational purposes. These logs do not contain IBAN data.
- Cookies: We use a session cookie for CSRF protection only. This cookie contains no personal information and expires when you close your browser. No tracking cookies are used.
2. How We Use Information
The minimal information we retain (server logs) is used solely for: preventing abuse and ensuring service security, diagnosing technical problems, and understanding aggregate usage patterns. We do not use any collected information for marketing or profiling.
3. Third-Party Services
IBANFix may use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. IBANFix does not pass any IBAN or financial data to any third party under any circumstances.
4. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption for all connections, SQL injection prevention, CSRF protection, and secure session management. Despite these measures, no internet transmission is 100% secure.

IBANFix is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
